Description

"The Prince of Pleasure wants you to have some fun. Take off those robes, and fix that crooked face of yours! We're going to drink the music out of your souls, and then we rave! A never-ending party drowned in never-ending fun!"

So I randomly was in the mood to update Lockheart's design. Compare to this 2012 version of her: fav.me/d4qi2hi. Lockheart is a daemonhost of Slaanesh, and the leader of the Threshers, a Chaos pirate faction operating mostly in the Gilranth Sector. It's been a while since I've thought about the Threshers and their leader. Lockheart was originally a gnod, a type of abhuman I made up, but more and more I'm starting to realize that I don't really like the design, and it's rather pointless compared to some of my other designs. I still love the KOZAK units I made for them, but I suppose I can always retcon those as for regular humans, anyway. I might redesign those, especially if I want to give Lockheart a badass suit of armor like last time I made her. In case I never do, Lockheart might just be a regular human instead of a gnod, though that's a moot point ever since she was possessed by a daemon of Slaanesh.

Lockheart is more or less the name f the daemon, rather than the host body. The souls of both subjects have kind of fused into the being I drew here, and Lockheart is no longer one or the other. Even before her possession, she was a powerful psyker, but since being taken over by the daemon, she is even more capable. She is capable of most Slaaneshi psyker powers, as well as the inventor of a few of her own unique abilities. She specializes in noise-based powers just as her cult specializes in sonic weaponry. She's basically a walking amplifier, and she can amplify her cultists' weapons and powers so much that they can crack a battleship in half with noise alone. She's also a major player in the slaving and soul-harvesting businesses.

That's it for now. I might redesign the Thresher cultists at some point, and I can explain more of their lore if I do so. This was pretty fun, and I'm always happy to see improvements between my older and newer stuff.
